I spilled steaming hot porridge on my belly last night.

-cries-

It still burns. My skin was beat red like when you first realize you got a sunburn...but this morning it felt really rough and started turning brown. Ouch!!!

That photo was taken an hour ago. And just now, I can see the blisters on the burn. Blisters = Second degree burn. Plus it's really thick and splotchy. This is some serious shit.

In other news, finals are in a few weeks. I'm so effing nervous. I'm so bad at Math this year - good thing my professor is giving us a second shot at the final if we don't pass the first. Whew! Psychology final is easy...even though it involves oral presentation. But she said we will probably say up to six sentences while we're up there. So whew!

I need a vacation. -sigh-

ouch!!! i'm in pain for you...that thing must kill. it just looks like pain. haha. that really sucks! i hope it gets better soon

It's worse when I shower...and I don't really like to shower in cold weather especially since it's like freaking 40 degrees outside.

i did that twice to my hand within a month like 2 years ago, the area where it got burned is a slightly darker shade now. You should put some burn cream on it, like hydrocortisone and the cover it with some gauze.

Someone told me not to put anything on it...and just to keep it clean. I just applied aloe vera gel on it and got blisters.

it's ok to put stuff for burns on it or aloe vera, just nothing like vaseline that is greasy. Once that blister pops and the skin starts to peel, it's going to itch like crazy and the hydrocortisone will help more then cause it will relieve the itchiness.

Omg. That looks like it hurts. One time (when I was younger) an iron fell on my hand. (Cuz my mom sat it up while she was ironing) and idk what I did but it fell on my hand. And I had this circle, and it looked like that, got brown, peeled. Obviously burned (slept with a fan on so it blew on it), and then with time it healed and now I don't have a scar or anything. I think they did gel it tho.

OH MY GOD. I was so stupid back then and I put my hand on an iron when it was on. I don't remember how badly I got burned though. But it wasn't as bad as what I have now on my stomach.

But shit...did you just leave it alone? I'm afraid of getting scars cause my dog scratched the burn last night by accident trying to get my attention :(

It's just of a dolphin.

I'm really not skinny though. It just comes off that way cause I didn't eat...when I do, I don't look it at all.

Ouch...put some neosporin and aloe vera on it so it heals faster and doesn't scar. ;_;

haha, thanks. I got it without giving much thought...I was just really excited to get one cause I was finally 18 and my friend was getting hers.

In reality, I don't look skinny...I just woke up and took the picture. So I didn't even eat anything yet.
